Overview

Rafting from Shivpuri to NIM beach is usually highlighted as 16Kms by every tour operator in Rishikesh. However, the actual river run is roughly 11-12Kms and usually takes about 2½ -3 hours including the drive to the starting point, briefing by your guide, river run, and transfer back to the office. The actual river run is roughly 1.5 Hrs to 2 Hrs depending on water levels and river flow, this section on Ganga features grades I to III+ rapids and has about 9 rapids including Shivpuri, Return to Sender, Roller Coaster (III), T-Off, Gold Course (III+), Club House, Cash Flow, Jail No Bail (Initiation), Double Trouble.

• All rafting gear including imported life jackets, helmet, rafting paddle and wet suits for winter slots (December till March)

• Experienced and professional safety kayaker with every raft.

All Exclusions 16SR All Exclusions 16SR • Videos/Photos are excluded. However, they can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs.1500 per raft per trip for 8 people.

• Any expense of personal nature.

• Pick and drop from/to any location other than the reporting one.

All things to carry. • Bathing Suit/Shorts, T-shirt, Straps up sandals/Sports Shoes. No Saree, Skirts or Burqa will be allowed.

• Sunburn lotion if you have a sensetive skin (not mandatory).

• Personal medication (if needed)

• Full sleeves and quick dry clothes are preferred on the trip.

• Sunglasses (if required) will be allowed with Retainers only (not mandatory).

Itinerary

The Shivpuri Rafting Day

On the rafting day report at the reporting location at least 30 minutes prior to your experience starting time or booked slot time. You will be asked to fill in the indemnity bond, and post that you will be transferred to Shivpuri which will take roughly 30 minutes to an hour depending on the traffic situation in Rishikesh on that particular day. Upon reaching it will take a further half an hour to prepare, inflate the raft, and a session on safety training. We are then good to go on a thrilling rafting experience and encounter close to 9 rapids, both minor and large like Roller-Coaster, Golf-Course, etc, although there are some large waves and whirlpools in this section overall it is safe to raft them under the supervision of highly trained and professional river rafting guide and safety kayaker. You can jump in the river for body surfing at the specified locations told by the rafting guide. The total river run will be around 11 to 12 km before it ends at NIM Beach from where you will be transferred back to the Office.

High-end but Unforgettable

Yes they are expensive in comparison to other rafting companies in Rishikesh but the quality of services are world class, going back as a happy person with an unforgettable rafting experience.

Amazing

Experiences rafting guide, a safety kayaker and high quality rafting gear made rafting very safe and joyful. Team red chilli treated us very kindly and were very supportive, we were late due to traffic jam yet they waited patiently for us and welcomed us, we were humbled. Thanks to gaurav from freaqo who coordinated everything perfectly. Will come back to try 35Km rafting.

Just Brilliant It Was

We were a group of 4 girls who went for Shivpuri rafting with Redchilli Adventures, they are highly professional rafting operators.
Rafting guide sent with us was very professional and guided us very well during the entire rafting experience. Equipment provided were high quality. They are bit expensive in comparison to other rafting companies but that can be seen in their services in terms of safety, guidance and equipment quality which made it a life time experience for us, so they deserve to be bit expensive to maintain high quality in their work.
I won’t be hesitant to say that don't go for the cheaper ones, redchilli adventures are simply the best ones in Rishikesh. I would also like to thank freaqo for coordinating and connecting with us from the moment we booked our rafting with them, highly professional and supportive they were, will recommend them and book our future adventures in Rishikesh with freaqo. Just brilliant everything was, made us happy.
