Overview
Rafting from Marine Drive to NIM beach is usually highlighted as 26Kms by every tour operator in Rishikesh. However, the actual river run is roughly 16-17Kms and usually takes roughly about 3-4 hours including the drive to the starting point, briefing by your guide, river run, and transfer back to the office. The actual river run is roughly 2.5 Hrs to 3 Hrs depending on water levels and river flow, this section on Ganga features grades I to III+ rapids and has about 10 rapids including Three Blind Mice, Cross Fire, Shivpuri, Return to Sender, Roller Coaster (III), T-Off, Gold Course (III+), Club House, Cash Flow, Jail No Bail (Initiation), Double Trouble.

  • All Inclusions 26MD All Inclusions 26MD • Transportation from Office to Office. To rafting starting point i.e Shivpuri and back to Office from finish point i.e NIM Beach.

    • All rafting gear including imported life jackets, helmet, rafting paddle and wet suits for winter slots (December till March)

    • Experienced and professional safety kayaker with every raft.

    • A drink of Coke and muchies/chips offered at the middle or at the end of the trip.
  • All exclusions 26MD All exclusions 26MD • Videos/Photos are excluded. However, they can be arranged at an additional cost of Rs.1500 per raft per trip for 8 people.

    • Any expense of personal nature.

    • Pick and drop from/to any location other than the reporting one.

  • All Things To Carry • Bathing Suit/Shorts, T-shirt, Straps up sandals/Sports Shoes. No Saree, Skirts or Burqa will be allowed.

    • Sunburn lotion if you have a sensetive skin (not mandatory).

    • Personal medication (if needed)

    • Full sleeves and quick dry clothes are preferred on the trip.

    • Sunglasses (if required) will be allowed with Retainers only (not mandatory).
Itinerary
The Marine Drive Rafting Day Collapse
On the rafting day report at the reporting location at least 50 minutes prior to your experience starting time or booked slot time. You will be asked to fill in the indemnity bond, and post that you will be transferred to Marine Drive which will take roughly 40 minutes to an hour depending on the traffic situation in Rishikesh on that particular day. Upon reaching it will take a further half an hour to prepare, inflate the raft, and a session on safety training. We are then good to go on a thrilling rafting experience and encounter close to 10 rapids, both minor and large like Three Blind Mice, Cross Fire, Roller-Coaster, Golf-Course, etc, although there are some large waves and whirlpools in this section overall it is safe to raft them under the supervision of highly trained and professional river rafting guide and safety kayaker. You can jump in the river for body surfing at the specified locations told by the rafting guide. The total river run will be around 16 to 17 km before it ends at NIM Beach from where you will be transferred back to the Office.

Thrill filled 26Km Rafting
We did the 26 kms rafting with Red Chilli Adventures and had a great time. It was a perfect rafting trip, never on the entire trip I felt unsafe. Do this trip with Red Chilli Adventures if you visiting rishikesh. Very well managed by Gaurav from Freaqo.

Safest Rafting Experience!
Our rafting guide was well trained, fun and we were equipped with high quality life-jackets and other gear. Safety kayaker was provided for additional safety. Enjoyed the rafting trip thoughout. kudos to Red chilli Adventures.

Thrilling, Exciting, Refreshing
A very well organised and managed rafting trip by Freaqo and Red Chilli Adventure. Hitting Class 3 and 3+ rapids looked easy with our highly trained rafting guide and safety kayaker by our side. Body surfing in stable water made it truly joyful. Highly recommended for anyone travelling to Rishikesh.

Wonderful Rafting Experience
I was searching for the best company in Rishikesh for our rafting adventure and can happily say that we found it in Redchilli adventures through freaqo. We went on 26km day trip down Ganga River. Me, my wife and our 16 years old daughter were on this tour with few other guests. We are thankful to everyone for making it very joyful and thrilling for us, we were very satisfied with the services, equipment (life jackets, helmets, paddle etc) quality and our rafting guide’s behaviour towards every participant in the raft.
